Looking for Our Next Executive Director

The Santa Cruz County Bar Association & Lawyer Referral Service (SCCBA) is seeking a dynamic part-time executive director to oversee strategy, sustainability, and operations for the organization. At its heart, the SCCBA is a non-profit membership organization focused on providing services for its members, as well as aiding the public at-large through the Lawyer Referral Service. The executive director position reports to a volunteer board of attorneys and supervises part-time staff who are currently working remotely.

The ED must be diplomatic and assertive with lawyers, judges and the public; an excellent communicator; a skilled problem-solver and someone who embraces change and will lead the Association toward future growth and viability.

While most of the work may be handled remotely, candidates must be able to routinely attend in-person events, meetings, and other activities in Santa Cruz County.  Part-time position shall be 24 hours a week at $40,000.00 annual salary.
